This is an easy fix for your CD/DVD drives if they have gone missing and no longer show up in My Computer. If this fix doesn't work (which it usually does) then there is most likely something worse going on with your machine. If the upper and lower filters are located in a different key then do not delete them! If you don't have filters for the CD/DVD drive then you will need to find a different solution. Thank you to mrylli1234 for bringing this to my attention and suggesting daemon tools lite to help with the problem.
