This excellent tool allows you to split .mp4 and .mkv video files (possibly other containers too, I've only tested what I have). I used it to split some gameplay footage I recorded using Raptr GVR - the files recorded with Raptr tend to have a variable frame rate and this often causes problems with video editing software like Adobe Premiere. The software I used is called mkvtoolnix -- Matroska tools for Linux-Unix and Windows. The resulting file will be a .mkv - this can be uploaded or played with most media players.
