Pro Tools 12 - Remove CD/DVD Discs Before Launching (Troubleshooting)

https://bit.ly/2wqUjlR Xinfire secret sale page.
If Pro Tools 12 is slow to launch, lagging, or becomes unresponsive - check to see if you have a CD/DVD mounted. This applies to Windows computers running Avid Pro Tools. Having a CD/DVD disc in the CD/DVD drive can cause Pro Tools to become extremely slow and unresponsive. It's possible this may also happen if you have a mounted ISO, I have not checked, just be aware of that probability. To rectify the problem, make sure Pro Tools is closed and simply remove the disc from the drive (or unmount in the case of an ISO) and then re-launch Pro Tools in the usual manner. If this fixes your lagging issue, great, if not - read through the rest of the Pro Tools Read Me for more troubleshooting ideas. You can find the Read Me in your Avid Account.
